Discover Our Unique Terminology

At TitaniumBlue LLC, founder Katherine Lieber has coined specialized vocabulary to articulate the complex experiences of skilled, high-performing adults raised as child-victims of one or two narcissistic parents.

Terms like "neuronarcal" provide a framework for intelligent discussion and empowerment, highlighting the neurochemistry and behavioral conditioning shaped by navigating daily survival gauntlets.

Read below to explore how these terms distinguish the challenges faced in narc environments from the experiences of those raised in supportive, nurturing settings, and how they can help reclaim personal power.

When you can understand that you were raised as a neuronarcal person, and are a highly finely-honed survival mechanism, not a neuronormal person who just failed to "get the memo", you can begin to operate from a position of strength in shattering invisible barriers to success and reclaiming your power in a neuronormal world.

What Do They Mean?

Neuronarcal

"Neuronarcal" describes the neurochemistry and behavioral conditioning of high-performing adults raised in the systematic destructiveness of a narcissistic parent’s environment.

It encapsulates the vigilance, survival strategies, and emotional labor required to navigate daily challenges, setting it apart from the experiences of those raised in nurturing, supportive environments.

This term provides a lens for understanding the lasting impact of these dynamics and a path toward reclaiming personal power.

Neuronormal

"Neuronormal" refers to the neurochemistry and behavioral conditioning of individuals raised in nurturing, supportive environments.

Unlike those shaped by the vigilance and survival strategies required in narcissistic settings, neuronormal individuals grow with a foundation of unconditional love and emotional safety.

This term highlights the contrast between these experiences, offering a benchmark for understanding resilience and the impact of supportive upbringing.

Neuropowerful

"Neuropowerful" defines the state of freedom and self-mastery achieved by neuronormal individuals who have transcended the neuroconditioning of a narcissistic upbringing.

It represents a reclaimed sense of agency, where one consciously chooses excellence and resilience, unshackled by survival-driven behaviors.

This term embodies the culmination of healing, turning past struggles into a superhuman capacity for clarity, strength, and purposeful action.

Neurotoxic

"Neurotoxic" refers to individuals whose behavior disrupts the neurochemistry and emotional well-being of those around them through systematic manipulation, control, or emotional abuse that at the same time, flies under the radar of most of society, making them seem normal, reasonable, even charming.

These individuals exhibit deeply ingrained patterns of dysfunction, which compel them to continually create environments of heightened stress and instability. They derive satisfaction and a sense of power from being destructive, and from deliberately maintaining others in an ongoing state of emotional survival.

This term highlights the inherent, unchanging nature of their behavior and its impact on those forced to endure their presence.
